Our Own English High School, Fujairah under the aegis of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, recorded a stellar performance in the CBSE Grade 10 All India Secondary School Examinations (AISSE) 2020.
Padmaja Vijayan topped the school with an aggregate of 96.6% followed by Aamna Akhtar and Saalu Raitha Shanu, who stood joint Second with 96.4%. Aimee Jobi ranked Third with 96% in aggregate.
It was a phenomenal result, as, for the first time, the school recorded World Toppers in 4 subjects. Amna Akhtar and Vrinda Santosh scored a centum in English. Padmaja Vijayan secured full marks in French. Anett Varghese scored 100% in Mathematics while Vedant Mahesh Majmundar scored the perfect marks in Social Science.
40% of the students scored over 90% marks in aggregate while 81.1% of the students scored above 75%.
The school average stood at an astounding 84.7%.
The highest scores in individual subjects from Our Own English High School Fujairah were as follows: English – 100, Mathematics – 100, Social Science – 100, Science – 98, French – 100, Malayalam – 98 and Hindi – 95.
